More than anything, you want a surgeon who connects with you on a personal and professional level, providing quality care to help you look and feel your very best. At The Center for Plastic Surgery, our board-certified physicians combine science and art to create optimal results.
Face Lift
The face lift procedure is designed to address your unique anatomic plastic surgery concerns. Generally, the skin is elevated, and deeper tissues are tightened. Fat is sculpted, removed or repositioned. Liposuction or direct fat removal is commonly performed and that fat can also be replaced into areas of the face to replace lost fullness. Incisions are placed in well-concealed locations and closed precisely with sutures.
Neck Lift
During neck lift surgery incisions are commonly placed behind the ears and/or below the chin, allowing the scars to be well hidden. The deeper structures of the neck are tightened. Excess and loose skin is then treated by excision and re-draping of the skin. Excess fat can be removed via liposuction, direct excision, or both, depending on the amount and location. In certain situations, neck lift surgery may also be done in conjunction with chin augmentation for an even more dramatic result.
Brow Lift
A forehead lift or “browlift” is a plastic surgery procedure that reduces wrinkles, improves frown lines and places the eyebrows in a youthful position. The procedure corrects drooping brows and improves the horizontal lines.
During your consultation, an OSC Plastic Surgeon will examine your facial structure, your hairline and your muscle activity in order to decide the best approach to plastic surgery giving you the best results.
Eyelid Surgery
Eyebrow position directly influences eyelid appearance. You may be a candidate for eyebrow plastic surgery in addition to or exclusive of eyelid surgery. Not all upper eyelid procedures are the same. Surgery around the eyes is delicate and requires precise attention to detail. Typically, incisions are made within the upper eyelid skin crease or adjacent to the lower eyelash line. Excess fat is removed or repositioned to create the desired effect. Excess skin is excised and incisions are closed precisely. Often, the lower eyelid incisions can be made within the conjunctiva so there is no visible scarring in the skin. Each plastic surgery procedure is individualized for a particular patient.
Nose (Rhinoplasty)
During rhinoplasty plastic surgery most incisions are concealed inside the nose or along its natural creases. Scars from rhinoplasty generally heal favorably with very little noticeability. Most of the contemporary rhinoplasty plastic surgery is performed using the “open” technique. Occasionally, the “closed” technique can be utilized for minor changes in shape or revision surgery. The so-called “closed” rhinoplasty requires only intra nasal incisions. Recent innovations in rhinoplasty include building up the nose to achieve an aesthetically pleasing form (rather than just breaking the bones and removing tissue).
Cosmetic rhinoplasty surgery can be combined with “functional” nose surgery also. Patients with functional airway obstruction from septal deviation or nasal airway collapse may be candidates for a combined procedure.
Septoplasty
Septoplasty surgery is a plastic surgery procedure to straighten the bone and cartilage dividing the space between your two nostrils or “septum.” When the septum is crooked, it is known as a deviated septum. This can make it harder for you to breathe.
During surgery, your nasal septum is repositioned to the middle of your nose.
Breast Reduction
Breast reduction plastic surgery, commonly called reduction mammoplasty, is a very commonly performed procedure. This plastic surgery procedure can be performed for medical/functional reasons or for cosmetic reasons. This surgery can provide significant relief from the problems associated with large breasts, including back and neck pain, posture problems, skin rashes under the breast, skeletal deformities, breathing problems, and discomfort during exercise. Additionally, the surgery produces three primary affects. First, and foremost, the breast size (weight) is reduced. Secondly, the areola is reduced to some degree depending upon the size preoperatively. Thirdly, a breast lift is performed simultaneously in conjunction with the breast reduction. Rarely, the nipple is removed and replaced at the time of the procedure. This is done primarily for women with extraordinarily large breasts. Your anticipated breast size after surgery will be discussed with your surgeon.
Breast Augmentation
Breast augmentation surgery, clinically referred to as augmentation mammoplasty, is the surgical placement of breast implants to increase fullness, balance a difference in breast size, improve breast shape, or as a reconstructive technique following mastectomy. Breast enlargement is ideal for women who are dissatisfied with the shape or size of their breasts. If you’ve lost volume in your breasts, either because of breast-feeding or weight loss, breast augmentation could restore how you once looked.
Your surgeon will offer you several options regarding surgery that will be discussed at the time of your confidential consultation. These options include which type of implants to use based on your anatomy, location of incision for placement of the implant, and whether to place the implant above or below the pectoralis muscle.
Breast Lift
Breast lift surgery, technically called mastopexy, is a procedure that raises and firms the breasts by removing excess skin and tightening the surrounding tissue to reshape and support the new breast contour. This is a popular procedure for women who are interested in uplifting their breasts and providing a more youthful appearance. Breast descent can occur following pregnancy or with weight change or also simply with time. This is a common procedure that is easily combined with other cosmetic procedures.
This procedure is done under general anesthesia as an outpatient. There is mild discomfort that usually lasts only a few days. You will be restricted from strenuous activity for about two weeks. Depending upon the type of work you perform you may be back to work in a week or less. The scars from mastopexy surgery can take up to a year to completely settle down and mature. The scar length from breast lift surgery can very considerably. The length of the scar essentially correlates with how much lift is necessary to raise your breast to a more natural position. Small lifts may require only an incision around the areola. Lifting the nipple and areola to a greater degree may require an incision around the areola, straight down from the areola and along the fold under the breast. This is classically described as a ‘anchor’ shaped incision.

Breast Reconstruction
Reconstructive surgery is that area of plastic surgery that focuses on restoring form and/or function to a part of the body that following trauma, cancer resection, congenital malformations or accident that leads to a deformity. Reconstructive procedures vary in their complexity, ranging from something as simple as a closure of a wound or scar revision, to more complicated surgeries such as using a flap from one part of the body to repair a defect in a completely different part of the body.
Tummy Tuck
Abdominoplasty surgery removes excess fat and sagging skin from the torso to reveal a tighter, slimmer, and more contoured midsection. During surgery, your surgeon pulls your abdominal muscles together to form a tighter stomach area.
Buttock Lift (Brazilian Butt Lift)
Buttock Lift surgery involves two procedures: liposuction and augmentation. First, excess fat is removed via liposuction from areas such as the abdomen, hips, lower back, or thighs. Next, the extracted fat is prepared for transfer, and injected into areas of the buttocks to enhance its shape and size.
During your consultation, you can discuss with your surgeon your desired results. The ideal size is based on cultural and personal preferences.
Liposuction
Choose liposuction to eliminate stubborn fat and contour your body
Liposuction works by targeting problem areas to remove that stubborn fat and reveal a slimmer, more shapely appearance. OSC | Center for Plastic Surgery offers the latest liposuction techniques including the traditional suction-assisted liposuction, as well as power-assisted liposuction.
Our bodies do not produce more fat cells, but when weight is gained, existing fat cells become larger as they store this excess fat. Liposuction is often used to target these specific areas, as well as the face, neck, upper arms, back, chest, buttocks, and inner knees – making it the most commonly performed cosmetic surgery procedure in the United States.
The ideal candidate is someone that has a small pocket of fat in specific areas, despite having a stable body weight. Liposuction cosmetic surgery provides a more sculpted appearance but should never be used to reduce weight. Meet with our OSC Plastic Surgeon to discuss if you are a candidate for liposuction.
