About Me

Born and raised in Lancaster, Ohio, Dr. Schwendeman graduated from The Ohio State University. After completing his residency at the University of Pittsburgh where he met Youngstown native Dr. Joseph Stefko, he moved to the area and fulfilled the need for a hand and upper extremity surgeon. Hand and Upper Extremity fellowship-trained, Dr. Schwendeman specializes in carpal tunnel surgery, distal radius fractures, tendon ruptures or lacerations, nerve and vessel injuries, arthritis, nerve compression and tendonitis, and elbow replacement surgery.
