Joseph Stefko, MD

About Me

After being raised in Youngstown, Ohio, Dr. Joseph Stefko completed his education and moved back to the Youngstown area. He is a Sports Medicine fellowship-trained orthopaedic surgeon who specializes in shoulder rotator cuff surgery and shoulder replacement surgery. Using the latest surgical technology, Dr. Stefko has extensive experience with arthroscopic repair of ligament and tendon injuries, as well as computer-assisted planning and sizing for your shoulder replacement. His outpatient surgical practice incorporates minimally invasive surgical techniques along with pain block management. For over 25 years, Dr. Stefko has been involved in educating young orthopaedic surgeons and caring for athletes of all kinds in the Valley.
